AdSense DO's and DON'Ts:
Join AdSense GOLD and get big commissions from Google!
There are many lists of high paying AdSense keywords. Most emphasize MEDICAL keywords and ATTORNEY seeking keywords. HERE IS A GOOD WAY TO GET YOUR SITE TO THE TOP FAST: Do a search in Google for some of the top paying keywords. Then simply find the site on page one which is running AdSense. Be very careful NOT TO COPY anyone's content. Make your own original site, with your own content. What you CAN DO is get IDEAS from these big AdSense earners. You can see which topics they are covering and you can develop similar topics on your site. If you see violations of the AdSense TOS, do not use those elements. The AdSense team periodically reviews all sites and BANS sites which are in violation of the TOS. See more below about how to stay in sinc with the TOS.
You should build content-rich pages on your website and AdSense will select ads it determines are the most appropriate for your pages. If you try to place two AdSense ads on a page which does not have enough content, the second ad will not display. Another reason the second ad will not display is that there may not be enough Adsense merchants on the particular topic.
AdSense DON'T's include: Do NOT use other similar ad services on your site if you are running AdSense.
DO NOT PLACE ADS FOR PORNOGRAPHY, HATE, GUNS, AMMO, SMOKING, HARD LIQUOR OR PHARMACEUTICALS ON YOUR SITE IF YOU ARE RUNNING ADSENSE. It may take the AdSense team a little while to discover your violations of their TOS (Terms of Service) but believe me, before they send too many big checks to you, THEY ARE GOING TO RE-REVIEW YOUR ENTIRE SITE TO SEE IF YOU STILL QUALIFY FOR ADSENSE. If they ban you, then it is "goodbye commissions".
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE place any pictures or graphics near the AdSense ads nor any type of language such as "click here". In fact, if you have the words: "Click Here" anywhere on your web pages, remove these words, even if they refer to other ads. Get rid of the words: "click here" so you do not trigger the AdSense robot.
If you try to violate the AdSense Terms of Service (TOS) then when the Adsense team reviews your site, you could get warned, or worse, banned. Stay well within the TOS.
NEVER, NEVER CLICK ON YOUR ADSENSE ADS. This creates a HUGE problem for YOU because Google will ban your site because of fraudulent clicks. Be sure your kids cannot get onto your computer and start clicking on your AdSense ads. Keep your URL a secret so any possible future enemies cannot start clicking on your AdSense ads and cause problems for your account. You see, if someone is fraudulently clicking on your AdSense ads, the advertisers have to pay for those invalid clicks. Do NOT "test" your AdSense links. They WORK. Do not worry about it.
Do not use any words like "Click Here" near the Adsense ads, and do not use any words which encourage the visitors to click on the AdSense ads.
DO NOT place anything near or around the AdSense ads or AdSense search block which "call attention" to the AdSense.
A good idea is after you put AdSense on your pages, contact the AdSense team through the contact form after you log in to your AdSense account. Ask them to review your site to see if you have CORRECTLY PLACED the AdSense ads on your site and TO TELL YOU IF THEY SEE ANY VIOLATIONS OF THE TOS. This does not guarantee your continued acceptance if you violate the TOS after they review your site and tell you your site is AT THAT MOMENT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THEIR TOS.
DO: study the AdSense advice on how to succeed, especially the heat map and place your ads in the heat position.
DO blend in the background color of the AdSense ad to MATCH THE BACKGROUND COLOR OF YOUR SITE. See at the top of this page for our example of blending.
